I recently got a PRS P20 for work. PRS and some reviewers claim that it sounds bigger than it is. It doesn’t. But it’s fun and comfortable to play! My only complaint is the rough and noisy pickguard.

thanks for the demo
I’d like to hear it with flatwound strings
in a less reverberant room
and maybe a bit of sticky-back plastic over the pickguard ?
is the neck nice and PRS type slim ?

Not to poop the party, but am I the only one who thinks the PRS headstock makes the Heritage headstock look better?

parlors are great when self accompanying vocals..their strong midrange corresponds with vocals nicely...doesn't overwhelm with deep lows or overly bright highs...much like acoustic archtops!
try some 80/20 bronze strings on it
neck on that looks prs modern electric style...many og parlors had v shaped necks with small thin frets, and relatively tight string spacing...
cheers

Well, the modern neck would be welcome as far as I'm concerned. I have never gotten along with chunky V necks even though I have pretty big hands.

there are quite a few nice parlors out there these days...i like the 12 fret parlors...cannons!
cheers

Iirc, headstock shapes are trademarks. That was gibson's suit against asian manufacturers.

Peterson,
Congratulations on nice new small guitar. I think neatomic is on to
something re: 12-fret parlors.
Also, small-bodied guitars that sound big are, in my experience, a good-luck, large dollar proposition.
Enjoy!
