Just finished her and picked it up from the tech for set up. Loving the neck pickup, Fender Noiseless, but not loving the bridge pickup, a StewMac Golden Age. Anyways, here are the details;
GFS body in Burgundy Mist
Warmoth Gibson scale conversion neck, roasted maple, 10-16 compound radius
Fender locking tuners
Fender Noiseless Tele neck pickup
StewMac Golden Age Tele bridge pickup
Fender bridge with brass compensated saddles

Currently set up with DR Pure Blues 10's...might switch to 11's, but first I need to figure out the bridge pickup. I know it isn't as pretty as some, or as expensive considering the GFS body, but she sure plays wonderfully.

nice lookin tele...what kind of wood is the gfs body?...did the warmoth neck fit the neck pocket of the gfs body without much tweaking?
enjoy
cheers

Thanks...the body is alder, and no problem with the neck pocket. I have built probably a dozen strats and teles using GFS bodies, and never had a problem. I usually use necks from WD, AllParts, and Warmoth.

Def snazz! Congratulations, and play it in good health!

Beautiful tele!
I have an alder partscaster tele also. Inca silver, with a roasted maple neck. Came to me with p/us from Don Mare. His "Joel Foy" set. Best tele p/us I've heard. I've never much liked the bridge p/u only sound on teles, but actually do use that position on this guitar. No ice pick at all.
