I, as dm pointed out re fisherpeople, was saying I find it really bizarre that after buying a 10,000$ archtop people complain about the cost of TI strings at 25$ a set. Or classical guitarists with same priced guitars kvetching about the price of Hannabachs.

It’s not a matter of whether or not the more expensive strings are ‘better ‘, or they magically transform a mediocre player into Jim Hall. I just get a kick out of people and what they obsess over, that’s all.
