Fender Vibrolux Reverb - Copperheads or Legends 1058?

Suppose you have a good silverface Vibrolux Reverb (blackfaced)... Would you put in 2x Copperhead, 2x Legend 1058 or one Copperhead and one 1058? I play a L-7 with DA model 1000 (bebop/swing). Just curious....I can't decide.

Agreed! My hunch says there will also be a new 10" Jensen AlNiCo soon. The new, very promising 12" Jensen Blackbird AlNiCo weighs 2.0 kg / 4.5 lbs, the same as Tornado 12", so a 10" with the same "motor" should be around 1.8 kg / 4 lbs.

I put Cannabis Rex speakers in my VR, and I think it helped immensely. Swapping the Eminence Beta from my RE Stealth 10 for one of them helped even more. But the bottom line is that tone is entirely subjective, and only you can decide which sounds better. Strangers on an internet forum might possibly have different tastes than you.

I would love to try the Jensens and Cannabis Rex, but I have 2x CH and 2x 1058 For now I'm pleased with them, and don''t want to go speaker hunting at the moment. But can't decide what combination I like best. I know speakers are very personal, but still would like to hear what your experiences are with them. Anyone?

I tried them with a Lil' Buddy and a WGS G10C, but they didn't do it for my jazz tone...
