paul mccartney bought the first casino in the beatles...cause he wanted a whammy bar like eddie cochran (who used a gretsch) and the epi was the one he found..and the whammy was upside down!! hah



lennon & hari got theirs after...no whammy

macca still uses his to this day..lennon used his till the end as well...haris was lost or broken

The Epiphones weren’t a budget line at the time. The Casino and the ES-330 were the same price. In 1962 the basic dual pickup version of each was listed at $275 in the respective catalogs.
