There is no doubt that the Collings East Side LC Jazz Guitar is superb, I purchased a Blond
model with the Lollar CC pickup, an excellent guitar, as Jabs said they all look to be in an
unplayed condition, mine is too, and they come with an Ameritage fitted case, another plus.
I luckily acquired mine , used, at a very acceptable price. Another gem (not for sale)

Mine is the earlier x-braced model. Yours would be parallel braced with the CC pickup. Love to hear these two guitars side by side and hear the difference between those changes.

Say you were looking for a guitar you can play either acoustically or plugged in... Would an unplugged Eastside be loud enough to be heard over a strummed flattop at a jam session? Or is that asking too much of a thinline laminate?

That seems a tall order. Guess it would depend on who’s strumming. Although it has a very acceptable Accoustic voice I really think it was meant to be plugged in.
