Anyone else contemplating getting rid of unused gear because of covid?

I'm not talking about for financial reasons, that's a whole 'nother tragic issue. I mean, just because they're not being used. Primarily a pit guitarist these past several years, I have many different kinds of guitars and amps, and I haven't used them in months. (I am fortunate to have a secure "day job.") I just look at my stuff, and wonder, I'm not using it, should I just sell it, and maybe wait until the need in a year or so to "reaquire?" Guitars, amp, pedals, etc. I'm getting more mileage out of my new Yeti mic using Zoom.

For me it's more due to lack of work gigs,etc. But I'm about where I need to be gear wise for any occassion,lol!

I have sold three of my six amps. With no gigs, Three amps is more than enough. If gigs come back, I will probably buy one more amp.

I have not sold any of my fifteen guitars, but if I am not gigging by this sumner. I plan on selling three guitars.

So far this year I’ve sold one guitar and one amp.
And bought two guitars and two amps.
Personally, 2020’s been pretty good.

Selling off lots of stuff. Giving away even more. Long ago I worked with a very simple minimal system for playing and recording. It was so complete within itself that I made a promise to myself that I'd never lose that appreciation of essential sound. Over the years I lost track of that ideal. It took 8 months of time with myself and making every note count to find that promise again.
Now I'm playing more minimally and the guitars I'm working with are a part of one aesthetic. Everything else has been gladly passed on to others. Not going to miss any of it.

I'm selling some stuff, not specifically because of COVID or for economic reasons, but just for general decluttering. I also have a one-in-one-out policy on guitars, and just sold one to bring myself back into compliance.

I too have the one in one out on guitars and amps...usually. I have a Yamaha 1 x 12 cabinet coming my way soon (sold two cabinets earlier this year). I'm good on guitars for now, waiting for post covid jams and gigs.

I’m eager to sell a ‘70s Suzuki and Yamaki and an 80s Aria Strat. End up with just 2 electrics. With amps it’s different. I’m still developing my taste and experimenting with 8” cabs.
