I picked this up on Saturday afternoon and it took a day to get the diver loaded but since then (with one exception) it's all gone really well. I'm creating patches in the software. I'm gotten the level to the headphones and the DAW software pretty much working. So the technology is definitely not getting in the way.
The one exception is that almost immediately upon getting it home, I proceeded to break my index nail down to the quick. That's a huge part of my playing so I feel like I'm trying to record with half a hand but I think I managed to get a reasonable first clip recorded.
This is entirely a product of the modeler with no EQ or effects from the DAW software.

Sounds good jim, but i'm wondering why you arent using the xlr out from the milkman to record?

sorry to hear about the nail! Nonetheless, very nice tone. Kind of a subtle but weird volume fluctuation going on tho... perhaps the result of recording only one channel of a stereo effect?

There is a bit of tremolo effect running. I wonder if that's what you're hearing.

It's certainly no relection on the Milkman. I absolutely love playing through that rig but with this will also work with my acoustics.
