hello
my first post here.
i have an eastman ar805 on order
AR805 - Eastman Guitars
and would like to get a gig bag for this. i've had good experience with mono bags for my other guitars and was thinking of the following mono models:
sleeve acoustic guitar case
Sleeve Acoustic Guitar Case, Black
– MONO
vertigo acoustic guitar case
Vertigo Acoustic Guitar Case, Black
– MONO
classic acoustic/dreadnought guitar case
Classic Acoustic/Dreadnought Guitar Case, Black
– MONO
has anyone used one of these cases for their eastman ar805 or similar guitar? i'm not really interested in trying any other brands at this point. the mono bags have been that good.
thanks for any help.

I had an Eastman AR403 which I believe is just a tad bigger than the 805. I carried it with me in the Mono Duo Electric/acoustic, but it also fitted (I'm pretty sure) my Mono Vertigo semi-hollow bag. Great bags indeed.

Mono are great as well as Reunion Blues Continental gig bags. I've used one for my Elferink Tonemaster archtop 16.5" x 3" for several years, no complaints and not overly pricey!

I have a Mono Classic Dreadnought bag. I'm currently using it with my Gitane G500 (which is probably a little smaller than an ar805), but have used it with other archtops and a dreadnought. I've had it for probably 15 years, and it's still in great condition. I'm sure an ar805 will fit.

Don't buy the semi-hollow because I said it would fit....

hello everyone
thanks for your replies. i guess that i'll go with the mono m80 dreadnought bag. i already have a couple of these. the other mono models might be too tight a fit for the eastman at 3-1/2 inches body depth.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to hearing what you think of your new guitar.
As for the bag, since you already have a Mono Dreadnought bag, you can just wait and check fit. I'm guessing the 42" internal length of the M80 will be too short for your Eastman.

thanks for your reply. actually, i don't already have a dreadnought-size mono -- i have an electric (slab) and an om-size bag. i was thinking of ordering the dreadnought for the eastman. but you have a good point. i'll write to the people i'm ordering this from to ask if they would happen to know the overall length of the guitar. not something i was actually thinking about.

I just looked at the invoice the only description was "Leather Gig Bag $125". If that looks like something you'd like, I'd suggest giving him a call and I'd bet he'd get you one that fits just right.

The best gig bag I've used was Reunion Blues. I've got one for my 17" x 3" archtop.

thanks everyone for their further input.
i'm going to go with the mone m80 dreadnought bag:
Classic Acoustic/Dreadnought Guitar Case, Black
– MONO
i have other products of theirs and everything has held up real well through lots of travel.
but keep those pictures of your guitars coming...

The recently marketed Mono Jumbo Acoustic Guitar case perfectly fits my 17" Gibson L5, which is bigger than the AR805.

That’s a Probag, I have one too. Mine has the saddle bag. They are great! Probag are notoriously difficult to order from though, seem s they mainly take bigger orders from guitar stores and the like.
