I found a set of these used at a good price, and needed them for my AS120 (super58s had gone very microphonic)
It took me a couple days to get used to the tone and settings, but now I really like the sound, especially with dense chords, there is so much clarity and note definition, also for a "jazz" pickup, they just love a hint of overdrive. I have never really had P90s, but these work so well for me, I find that when you pick a bit harder, they really respond, no mud... very happy with them in a semi hollow here

Nice!
Two things:
1. P-90s are awesome for jazz! and
2. I just put on a pair of those same pickups on a thinline tele yesterday!! [well, OK, my tech did -- I have no idea how to change pickups!]
At first play, I'm also digging them! I'll post pics later.

Congratulations. Their Blue Note pickup is also excellent for jazz.

It took a day to get used to them, now i love it, it's like half tele/half jazz box, and it really responds to how hard you pick

It's funny, I find myself using the bridge pickup more often than usual... I also want to put a wound G back on this guitar and make it more of a jazz guitar than a blues machine
