Hello, I have a Mark Little Jazz DV amplifier.
I also bought an Orange 20 RT. I have made comparisons with the same settings.
The Orange is more powerful and the sound is warmer, despite its 20 watt of power. It is half the price. 200 € !
The Orange has a 1x 8 "loudspeaker but it sounds like a 10". If you have the opportunity, try it !

Very interesting! And they offer it in black so it even looks good! ;-)You recon it could do (not too loud) gigs? How would it hold up with drums (if not played too loud)?*edit: in black it's ?20 cheaper than in orange?!? Strange....

here is a review, for whats it worth they dont really know anything about jazz amps (Rock and the Rest, maybe).
I have just put this not do diss Orange Crush, but am interested in small amp that could be used for Jazz, (my Fetish) i believe Little Jazz was probably initially designed as a amp, and the " hey lets make this a unique/Boutique JaZZ styled amp if one gets my drift. It may have been useless as Rock/Funk amp etc it seems Little Jazz use same power amp stuff in non Jazz amps so it seems. Dont take this to be factual, just my opinion,
review is pretty good, overall tho'

its a marketing ploy LJ went from White with Red corners & knobs, to White to Black.

Orange is a little more powerful but above all more warm...

God bless the forum, I was thinking of getting a dv mark little jazz and I was wondering if the orange 20 would do a similar job!

Hi everyone - I'm looking around for a small, cheap-but-very decent closed-back jazz practice amp for my office that I can use with or w/o headphones.
Has anyone had experience with either the Orange Crush 12 or Crush 20 models? Just looking for something that would elicit the "hey, that sounds pretty dang good for that money" response. Thanks for your thoughts.

I heard a little Orange once, I wasn't too impressed.
These little guys sound halfway decent, and through a real cab actually sound surprisingly good. The feel is really nice too, soft and forgiving. Real spring Reverb. Shipping is expensive on this one, if you look around you might find a deal. I paid $18 for mine.

I suspect this sounds even better, and you can return it if you don't like it. I don't know if it's closed back though

I had this post in my mind and I always wanted to change my little practice amp. I had a roland cube 10, not bad. I finally got to try one of this orange crush 20 rt and I have to say that the clean channel is very pleasant. I liked it more than the roland sound... feels more roundish... not so dry. I haven't explored the dirty channel... but I would use it probably more as a boost as I got this amp second hand and it came with the footswitch.
A total thumbs up for this little amp.

This is really interesting. Has anyone tried the 35RT? It's still inexpensive and has more power plus a 10" speaker.
-
I haven't. BUT my main amp now is an Orange crush pro 60 and I can say it is pretty cool, this was another reason that got me thinking of getting the small 20 watts.

Another important aspect is that the construction of the amp is great quality, super robust.

I went out and tried both a 20RT and a 35RT this afternoon. They did sound good. They sounded very similar but, for obvious reasons, the 35 could do it at much higher volume levels. It's a nice sound. As you say, rounder and warmer than a Fender or Roland. Definitely food for thought, especially at those prices.

I appreciate what you all have been sharing from first hand experience.

I had already send hin a message but I have no need for the footswitch and without it his price is high for a used amp. He wasn't impressed with my logic
