Hi Steffan thanks for the good advice, I successfully replaced the speaker last weekend, and didn't electrocute myself! The G8C is louder than stock celestion speaker and very clear but a little brittle. Did it take much time to break in? Any tube recommendations for my next project?

I‘m playing a warm Tungsol 12AX7 in the CUB8. A 5751 may also be a good choice. I would sy 20-30 hrs breaking in time to round the tone. The CUB8 wins warmth and basses if turned up.
