They all sound great. But I like the D'Angelico. A little more full sounding yet the beautiful acoustic tone still comes through nicely. Very well balanced. My personal bias is I like a little more traditional "electric tone." The New Yorker seems to accomplish that satisfactorily to my ears. But, like I said, I really like them all. The ones with the floating pickups seem to have a more acoustic sound. However, the D'Armond style floating pickup on the D'Angelico still has a little more "electric sounding" tone vs the other guitars with floating pickups. Just my ears and my 2 cents. I love jazz archtops.

To be honest, I'm not among the 200K plus watchers of this thread. Yet, I'd like to identify the guitar in this latest post. The cutaway doesn't look like anything I've seen on a Gibson, and I've seen a few.
