DrJay Sunday morning greetings to you from rainy Chicago
To my knowledge there is no difference in the depth of the GB5 and the GB 200. I think at some point in the production cycle Ibanez feels inclined to release “a new model for George” - or more simply George asked forbthek
To my knowledge there is no difference in the depth of the GB12 and ithe GB40.
I think at some point in the production cycle Ibanez feels inclined to release “a new model for George” or he simply requested the update. in the case of the GB5 being upgraded to the GB 200 probably The only difference I notice in hand is that the GB 200 has a deeper more exaggerated cut away allowing you slightly higher access to the Fingerboard - otherwise they’re pretty much the same guitars and the way they are built appears so understated yet in hand they’re stunning and so comfortable And those Super 58 pick ups are just killer killer guitars
And the way that I found that GBY2K was very unusual all I searched Ivan is George Benson it wasn’t listed under Y2K it was just weird the way to go get it if you were a good searcher you learn to use unexpected search phrases even misspelling your name sometimes just what you need to actually find the item

I read here as often as my tired old eyes allow me. I’m still buying and loving my guitars and amps
Mike! Glad to hear that you are well and enjoying things!
