On Neo efficiency: It's never been an issue per se, but I think manufacturers first went overboard with the immensely strong and light magnets. The 1st gen Neo speakers (notably Celestion's Century in 2008) were criticized for being too HiFi and trebly-punchy. Their efficiency hovered around 100 db then. The latest addition to Jensen's Tornado range is the 150W N12D, a full range speaker for modeling amp/IR applications. 99.5 db of pure dynamite. Not recommended by the maker for traditional guitar cabs. Could not agree more.
