Was someone not trying to sell an Eastman Romeo on this site a few weeks back?

The PRS SE Hollowbody guitars are usually in the six-point-something pound range.
    Very nice instruments.

Ah, an old thread resurrected. Won't go through it all to see if I've responded before. Will haul both a guitar and a boat anchor for a banjo to tomorrow's gig. So brought my lightest guitar to today's rehearsals: Epiphone Casino Coupe. Also one of the cheapest. Great sound through a Quilter Superblock US and Toob Metro 6.5GP. Truth is, I could do with just this setup. But of course, I lurve my Archtop Harem and have no immediate need to thin the herd.

In 2008 my Bambino cost less than what a new Strat costs now ... However, you can,t go wrong with almost any Eastman imhop...

    A few left field suggestions:

Steinberger (Mick Goodrick used one or maybe it was a Hofner)

    Kiesel Holdsworth

Although I hear that the heavier strings might be a bit of a problem with those tuners, the little knobs are reported to be a bit stiff and less precise than the full size buttons.

I really liked my parlour-ish acoustic electric plugged into Princeton Reverb. Smaller body helps contain the bass and bring some mids forward, combined with warmer wood choices the tone is a dash closer to the archtop than your typical dreadnought with the spruce top

I have an stienberger spirit. To get good sounds out of it, I had to swap PUs. I bought some bartilionies. The PUs cost more then the guitar. Even a friend of mine, who though I was ridiculous for the PU changed, bought a stien, and six months later swap out PUs. He justified his swap to me by explaining that he had some old duncans laying around.

Casino Coupes are excellent guitars. (Given the price point). I almost bought a used (but barely played) one once but the frets were not level, and it would have cost too much to fix that problem.

I find that my early parker fly (98 deluxe?), is an amazing guitar. It think it weighs 4.5 pounds.
