Taping big band music is a pain.
Here is what I came up with.
Scrap piece of plywood
Four toggle clamps
Layout music
Flip over and align with clamps open
Set Clamps
Apply tape. I use book tape much stronger and last for many more bends than other tapes
Trim tape and open clamps, done.
Here is the tape dispenser mounted to board
This takes the pain away.

Fantastic!

You should market that thing. Taping charts together drives me nuts!

What would you pay for such a thing? I know what it would cost to make. Then there is packing and shipping.

Just curious about your name. What kind of BB do you play in? I play in two. One is modern jazz. The other is more pop/funk oriented, like EW&F, Stevie Wonder, etc.

This is from a christmas concert a couple years ago. That.s me in the back, Eastman acoustic archtop, clip on condenser microphone through a Fishman Loudbox Mini.

My Mini did not survive being run from a generator. Fishman replaced it for a flat fee of $50. I now have a Mini Charge for the outdoor "generator" gigs. Both perform the same.

I regret that I have but one like to give the original post.

Old school. How tough is that?
-
I have used this method and it works but I like to use the clear book tape.

Agreed, the static thing is a killer. The paper jumps up and attaches itself to the tape in the wrong spot.
