If I had to choose one, it would be a Gibson ES175. I find it perfect for everything I do. It always fits well and looks great.

    What's yours?

Maybe they just need to be tuned and her neck adjusted. I meant the guitar.

+1 on 175. (For jazz at least) though 335 can do it all.

I love my 39 D'A. It's the easiest guitar I have to play and it sounds incredible.

    +1 on 175 for jazz

But I also like to change it up and play other models. I've practised a lot on a strat lately.

Gibson L-5 in its many incarnations since inception. I have five of them spanning a range of nearly 90 years.

175 is my only jazz guitar and it's great. But I have been corrupted by the forces of evil and I am thinking of getting a Tele soon.

And yes, I play jazz on it!

While I love my L5 for a variety of reasons, its the 175 that still does it for me. Every time I pick it up, I say to myself, "This is a great guitar for all the right reasons." If I could take one git into the afterlife, it would be my 175.

    175. I haven't played a lot of guitars, but I thought it was hands down better than a couple very expensive camplellones I tried

I like the 175, but it's become too big for me. The depth is no longer comfortable. 2.5 inches is now the deepest I'm comfortable with. My favorite now is approximately the Benedetto Bravo size, although I don't have one. But a Benedetto 16B copy is on the way. I can't afford the real thing, so a Wu will have to do for now. My bigger guitars, including my Epi 175, just aren't being played much. I've mostly been playing my Eastman T145, but I want something slightly larger, and I couldn't find a T146 at a price I was willing to pay.

I have owned two 175s in the past, and own two L5s now. No contest. Gibson L5 CES for me.

I have a Heritage H-575 but also wanted something without as much depth as I get older. I still have the Heritage, but I recently picked up a Korean D'Angelico Deluxe SS. I was considering a Benedetto Bravo, but I just fell in love with the Deluxe SS. I think it is a phenomenal guitar.

My favorite is the Gibson LeGrand, but if i was limited to have only one guitar i would make it my 2003 L5 CES because for my purposes it's more versatile than the LeGrand.

I love them all, but in the end, it's the ES175/165 template that does it for me. Tomorrow it'll be the L5ces. But somehow the ES175 has magic. It's fine enough to inspire me, humble enough for me n to to feel totally unworthy of it. With my L5ces, I feel like a farm boy dating a prom queen.
