Pickup mount problem

Does anyone think this would work?

Get a pickup like this hoping that the springy bit, instead of clipping to other side of soundhole, can go underneath soundboard and push against internal brace enough to hold in place.

Hmm. Velcro and a bit of vinyl floor tile. Listing a bit...



but sounded nice.

However I'm now thinking of biting the bullet and attaching something permanent to the soundboard. Unless someone has a £50 archtop to sell.
