Well, I let you guys have a more than one chance to pick up this monster...

In truth, I was Gassing for it on day 1

Got a great deal from QAman, and we had an informative phone call, and the next thing you know...

Purple Campellone from Ted Krause collection-purple_campy_cello-jpgPurple Campellone from Ted Krause collection-purple_campy_sanantonio-jpg

You will notice the lack of purple in the photo's. The purple will show
in direct sunlight, but normal playing conditions will appear as dark cherry
    almost black.

Mark Campellone makes great guitars, This one has the look of a high-quality Gibson
Beautiful headstock, great recurve, one-of-a-kind tailpiece a custom guitar all the way.

This guitar is museum quality, has a big-booming voice, and can be played
very softly or you can pound on it and it retains a sweetness that I really enjoy.
Very reverby sustain (I strung it with John Pearse 13-56 80/20 Bronze).

Every inch of this guitar ooozes quality, it even gives my Trennier Excel a run for the money.

I am very honored to have the privilege to be owned by this amazing guitar.

I will post some clips from my new Zoom Q2n, as soon as I learn how to play ...

    ... and lose ~50lbs!!

(see thread: How do you know when you know a tune for more details...)

A real winner. Mark is building me one right now. He is a great guy and his guitars are top notch quality at a reasonable price. Another win-win buy/sell happy ending. Congrats to both.

Did you order one with a floating or built-in pickup? Most I've seen from Mark for sale used are floaters. When is the approximate date of completion?

    Papawooly,
You are a perfect fit with the guitar and it sounds wonderful ! Real rich tone with a good whiff of DA in the midrange. I had 12’s on the guitar - but the 13’s really bring out its best attributes.

Do enjoy - that’s a one off Campellone - no other like it !

    Papawooly,

That's nice! I think the Campellone is about as good as it gets, and yours is a real beauty. Sounds fantastic. Congratulations, and enjoy making the music with it. Very cool.
