Well I've never heard it live but I just saw and bought a new Henriksen JazzAmp 310 from a reputable 3rd party retailer on Amazon for $599 - that's $500 off the $1099 sticker. What gives?
Curiously the 310 *extension cabinet* retails for $599 so I did a triple take on the description. I figure they're either going to ship me a mis-priced amp or a cabinet that was advertised as an amp. btw there's 1 more for sale as I write... hee hee.
Anybody have experience with this amp willing to share comments on it?Last edited by HighSnows; 03-29-2018 at 12:20 PM.

I love it! I got mine used on ebay for the same price. yours is new? that’s great. It is literally the perfect amp for me

They are great amps. The new 310 has a gain knob too which you'll probably find useful if you run different guitars through it. Not for actual distortion or anything, but just a bit of edge/bite.

Was it through Djangobooks? Man, I would feel bad for Michael if he lost half a grand for a mis-priced listing on an external site.

Well yeah, I just took a look and sure 'nuff there's one more. Oh the temptation....

600 new is insane, but you can get used for that price without much difficulty. At least I did

You’ll be playing yours while mine hangs at FedEx, awaiting my return from travels to Rudy’s NY...

Sorry, guys. Whenever it's too good to be true...
I bought a Beauregard MB online for 5K from some place in Texas, and they told me it was a mistake!

Ebay bidding can be strange, especially for jazz items that aren't well known outside the small world of jazz guitar. Henriksen isn't quite as famous as Marshall in the world of rock guitar.
Sometimes you can get things very cheap on ebay. I've done it, but it does require some diligence, and often the use of a sniping service. I snipe everything I bid on, and that is a double-edged sword. I got my Wu 18" archtop at a very low price with a snipe, and I didn't really want it that badly at the time. But every cloud has a silver lining, or at least hailstones.
Someone got a good deal on that Henriksen.

Just returned from travels and opened the Henriksen box to find I indeed received a Jazz Amp 310, not the cab!
Because of your experience, jazzgtrl4, I had my return ship label with me, certain I was getting the cab.
On rare occasion "too good to be true" is actually true. But Don't tell the kids. Better to hold with the standard advise.
...don't know why that's upside down?Last edited by HighSnows; 04-09-2018 at 08:50 AM.
