In 1965 I owned a Harmony Sovereign acoustic. It was their top of the line acoustic and played very well. I loved her.

Nice old guitar; congratulations.
Years ago when I used to teach some of my students had those guitars, so I played more than a few of them. In those days, before CNC, most inexpensive guitars were junk. Many were flat-out unplayable. Somehow, Harmony managed to make inexpensive guitars that consistently played well and sounded good. It wasn't a 335, but it certainly wasn't junk (I wish I had my '60s 335 back, but I digress).
Enjoy the guitar. Now all you need is an old Harmony amp.

I recently did work on a Harmony-built 60s Silvertone, same body, but loaded with three DeArmonds -- the ones with diamonds embossed on the tops. Good lord, but they sounded chunky. My amp loved that guitar, two peas in a pod.
Recommandations for Hollowbodies for $600 and under?
