When I first played my 1968 ES150DC I briefly thought about the neck dimensions, then remembered how many other stringed instruments have much thinner dimensions and the sound of the 150 won me over so I bought it.

It's by far (alongside the Tal) the best sounding hollow I have played.

Yeah chords are challenging on the lower frets but I don't play down there much anyway.

Everyone who hears my '68 175 enthuses about how great the sound is - it's very specific, bright and cutting, yet warm and full. I think I owe it to my music to buckle up and deal with the neck dimensions...

Those are funk machines.
Especially with both pickups on together. Almost strat-like quacky, but darker.

I think it's actually that slightly quacky quality which suits my playing actually...
