I have no idea what shape my Sadowsky has, but it is DAMN comfy.

The 1978 I owned had a 1.75" nut, but it was a 7-string. Bob hadn't quite figured out the 7-string ergonomics back then, ISTM. The strings were much too close together to be played comfortably, and I had to have it converted to a 6-string to sell it. But the profile was very nice. My Bambino is just over 1 11/16" at the nut, perhaps the finish is the extra tiny extra width. I can live with 1.75", but I prefer just a little narrower. My Eastman has a 1/75" neck, and I tend to pick up the Benedetto because I like the neck better. The Eastman's neck is certainly thinner in depth, and that is probably at least part of the reason I prefer the Benedetto.
