    Me too. But I was the shipper and it was going to Meheeco. It was reasonably inexpensive, so the buyer just said "f.i, that's ok."

    That reminds me. I was shipping a guitar to Brazil and was asked by the buyer to pack it so that it would be difficult for customs officers to open it. Surprise! They aren't generally trusted.

    I asked my best friend, who also happens to be from Brazil, what he would recommend. In addition to double boxing and adding an extra layer of cardboard over each end, he said to use an absolutely comical amount of tape over each layer. He said if they can't open it quickly and easily, they just pass it through.

    I guess it worked. The box arrived with two rolls worth of undisturbed packing tape completely intact.
