The final clear coats of nitrocellulose lacquer are finally on. These shots from the spray booth, so the lighting is making the body look look far more jaundiced than the color actually is. The prior photos in the sun are more accurate hue wise. So now it will air dry all of August before buffing, assembly and set-up can begin in September.

That neck is seriously sexy wood.
I'm gauging by your description of the color (and it's varianice from the photos) you're going with what tele-philes call "banana pudding."
Good call.

Just a touch off translucent white/Mary Kay. I believe Fender calls it "honey blonde". No where near the faux aged vintage amber that some Tele's are...

I am going with a .90" depth @ 1st fret and .98" depth @ 12th fret. I actually find a bit of added depth in a "C/U" profile to be less fatiguing. It will have slightly wider spacing going from 1-11/16" nut width to 2-1/8" string spacing at the saddles and will have a standard 25-1/2" Fender scale length. The fingerboard radius is a 12" radius for easy chord melody fretting but flat enough to allow for the occasional single line blues bend. For fret wire, I am using Jescar EVO .047" x .095" which is not super tall, but has a bit more girth than vintage wire. I play slightly lighter strings on a Tele than I do on my archtops. Nickel round wounds .011"-.050" seems to present pickups with enough metal for some girth in tone and allow for the occassional bend.
