I had a sweet Epi ES-175 (Joao) a few years ago, but my son played it so much and bonded with it to such a degree that I donated it to him (He also got my Epi Dot (Tito) that way...Hmmmm) He has his eye on my 34 resissue L5, so I hide it before he visits... Actually, he is a great son and a heck of a guitar player, he'll have plenty more guitars after I've strummed my last chord.

I think what is happening is they are cleaning out individual store stock, so a few show up in the computer and then get sold. I talked to several GC sales people on the phone when they were blowing out the natural finishes and they would come up as available and then back ordered over and and over again. They said that since their computer system doesn't reflect individual store stock the same way as the warehouse stock, it causes lapses and delays in the inventory that shows up on the website. Even when there were some showing available online, when I called to inquire they said they were out of stock and those were individual store stock that hadn't been entered in the system yet.
It seems a little archaic, but apparently it isn't a super accurate inventory system and isn't directly tied to what shows available on the GC website.
