I know the OP already decided, but here's another fun alternative for the vintage car, no-leather crowd:

[I have a camera strap and wallet from them, too!]

Be careful. Straps are attached to Your guitar so the 'who cares' attitude might contaminate to it too!

I have couch status on all my electrics, and a few acoustics, too. And it just so happens they are having a rare sale at the moment. And while I obviously like them very much, they do have a few drawbacks:
-metal hardware. You can ask for plastic, I think, but otherwise, there is a heavy buckle swinging around
-fairly thick and heavy. It takes up a lot of space in a case of you never remove your straps, like me.
Otherwise, they have proven to be somewhat affordable and durable. And they generally look pretty neat. I use mine with grolsch washers in lieu of strap locks.
I'd love to have a nice leather strap or two, but I guess I'm OK. Even the plain old cotton one on my acoustic is fine.
