    Disclaimer -

I am a bona-fide amateur jazz guitarist, retired and living in France. My friend Graham Esson until recently was the official distributor for Peerless Guitars in Europe. I have worked with Graham on certain aspects of design, but in no way am a paid employee of Fibonacci. I share this information therefore as a mutually interested contributing member of the Forum.

In the short term they can be ordered directly from us in the UK but Robert Conti will be handling the distribution there later on. I will know more clearly when in a couple of months.

    Hope that helps.

Its the 'signature' model with 45mm nut that I'm interested in. Wouldn't be for a player with the initials MS would it?

    'MS' ?

BTW, Forgot to say that all Fibonacci models will be fully set up and inspected by trained luthiers in London prior to dispatch to dealers.

The flame maple binding is a real bonus. I like what I see so far. The Conti connection would be a huge help for the USA. Do you know if there will be any ability to customize them?

In that case ( 'MT' ) - then yes!

Will post updates progressively as launch date nears ( June ) but individual models will not come on stream all at the same time. The 'Californian' is to be the first.

    Hope that helps.

    When I hear, "Fibonacci Guitars", I think GAS. i.e: 1 guitar, 1 guitar, 2 guitars, 3 guitars, 5 guitars, 8 guitars....

Will get back on customization, but as far as distribution is concerned, Robert Conti is a highly respected player and teacher but one with a clear connection to/with archtop design who will most certainly be effective in getting things off to a good start in the US we feel. Where the UK is concerned, six or maybe eight key UK dealers selected for their expertise (especially in the area of jazz/archtop guitars ) and high quality service will spearhead the launch. For UK clients, these dealers will be well placed geographically thus allowing 'hands on' assessment of the models which as contributors to this forum know only too well is all too rare. The signature 'MT' (!) models will be available from these dealers and on Martin's site but the transactions will actually be processed via the Fibonacci site. European distribution is a possibility at some point, but from the outset the aim is to keep the operation manageable, exclusive and maintain quality.

    Hope that helps,

    David

    Gotcha!

In fact, there will be more than 8 models - in due course.

    Nice one however.

Have just confirmed that in fact hardware etc., shouldn’t really be a problem from the outset. Possibly custom finishes in the future once things settle down. Depends what is required.

LH models will be an option.

    Hope that helps.
