My usual fix for buzzes and rattles is felt. It's good to keep a few felt scraps in the gear bag.

A follow up to the buzzes in my guit.
I spoke to one luthier and then took it to another and the conclusion is that it needs a fret job.
It has been back to the distributor for the country twice to have fret buzz fixed. Twice.
And today the luthier checked the frets and there are high ones all over the place. Not only that some of the frets had been filed but not crowned so there was a slight buzz right on the attack of the note. Ala sitar guitar.
And the nut needs attention too.
The distortion sound was the wiring vibrating. Took it and the pickups out and now its as sweet as.
The other thing I noticed was how heavy the pickups are. And how much louder the guit is without them acoustically.
I have a brilliant Kent Armstrong floater and am tempted to leave the buckers out and just screw the KA to the neck.
Bit of a one way street but.
Cheers Col.
