Beautiful looking guitar. It's a real pity Yamaha stopped building that and the AE2000.
Curiously, many of the ones that come up on Ebay are being sold from Japan and seem to be in very poor condition.

I'm a beginning jazz guitar player. I've been taking lessons for about a year and I coming along OK albeit kind of slowly. My instructor is very good. My goal is to be "fluent" in swing and bebop....
Roy Smeck's personal L-5 for sale at TR Crandall. Really quite gorgeous. With an interesting provenance. And a price tag to match ($24K. Gulp.). Oh well. Something to see. Vintage 1942 Gibson...
On Amazonas, the comping varies from a straight Joao Gilberto 1 2 3& type pattern (if you think in 4/4 it's a 1 bar pattern) to a two bar pattern with the downbeat (less syncopated bar) first. ...
OP asked for info about people's experiences. I'd start with this. I've never heard an unamplified guitar loud enough to do any gig I've ever done. What happens when you're playing rhythm guitar...
My only issue with Eastmans is the wide fretboard/nut feels pretty different than guitars I’m used to.
A release called "Funky Nothingness" includes a bunch of full, unedited takes from around 1970. That, and the Hot Rats boxed set, show that many of those great solos were assembled from longer takes....
Here is a 17” Campellone with 2.25” depth and a Lollar P-90 that is original to this guitar. It looks great, plays great, and sounds great. This guitar has the least “fight” of any guitar I’ve ever...
My thought is that each of these companies build very nice "ES"style guitars. And in order to widen their respective markets, offer them in a variety of styles, features, price-points and quality...
Hi All, I recently completed a Champ-project where I built my SF Fender Vibro Champ amp into a new cabinet with a 10" speaker. Became different as chalk and cheese. This low-power amp has come...
Perhaps a more commonly called blues rhumba, Albert King's version of "Crosscut Saw," recorded for Stax in Memphis with Booker T. Jones & Company, with the Memphis Horns on some tracks. Classic...
Yeah, I have a set of those on one of my guitars that replaced the stock vintage-style Klusons copies (made by Gotoh, as it happens) it came with. They're great, and fit the smaller hole and...
Two of them are stripped. Otherwise I wouldn't replace them.
