Guitar Center Does Not Set Their Employees Up to Succeed Very Well...

This is crazy.

The guitar that I wanted, which sold for $799.00 in December, came down to $599.00 in January whereupon I bought it.

It was at the price for only a week or so and then went back up to $699.00, the original markdown price from the $799.00.

Now, they want $824.00.

I can really see Supply and Demand working here.

They seem to be reacting almost daily, deciding whether or not they can charge more and still get them to sell!

I am used to the prices just sitting there. They may come down for special sales but that's it. In the space of 2 and a half months, GC/Musiciansfriend has had four different prices for this guitar. For once I got it right!

I figured out that guitar center will look for sold items on ebay for your guitar, and offer you 50% of the lowest sold item on ebay.
So be prepared to be lowballed or plan your trip by checking ebay first
