It's cool and all, and beautiful, but I doubt it sounds different than a solid strat. The strings vibrating on the heavy and metal strat bridge, and pickups, define the tone.

Hollow mahogany body with maple top and APG humbucers /single size/ will make warmer sound than standard Strat.
    Interesting...:-)

From the picture appear to have a hard tail bridge so that will sound different than your regular strat. That extra wood routed out and springs attached to the bridge block are part of the Strat's classic sound. That's why some who block the bridge on a strat leave the springs in, those sympathetic vibrations play a part.

Maple neck/rosewood fingerboard/ is glued to the body-different than regular strat.

    Different bridge.
That was trend for awhile back around 1980 they would take strats and have the necks glued to the bodies kind of like a neck-thru guitar. Collectors today would probably shoot a guitarist for doing that to an old strat or tele, but it was a trend. I like what Tom Anderson is doing now with his V joint on guitars. From what a luthier told me the joint is so tight the screws are hardly needed.

And almost impossible to duplicate. I had a long talk with Tom about that years ago. He gave me all the details but also told me how any necks and bodies they went through getting an exact fit. They really put a lot of work into getting that right.

My first thought as well. It just seemed awfully Tele-like, especially with the peg head. I like it a lot though.

no contour beacause of full chambered body...
    I do not use trem...
There is a Tele neck glued and secure to the mahogany chambered body also...
The maker of this guitar said that this instrument is dedicated to blues but it has big jazz sound potential also...:-)
