    Its not mecessary. It's flexible so it's pushed in through the sound hole, and then taped to the back or top of the guitar. All you have to do is change the pots. Done.

    I disagree. There's no way to attach something like that to the underside of the arched top of the guitar without impeding the vibrations of the top. If you glue it all the way around, you're changing the sound of the guitar. Maybe you could attach it in 3 places and let it hang down but I guarantee at some point it'll cause vibrations and buzzing. And then there's the battery.

    NO THANKS!

    The underisde is just one place to place it. Preferred placement in the makers words is to the backside. Where there's less vibration anyways since that's not th most resonant part of the structure and your body is pressing against it.

    I've got a sizable, complex harness in mine with no buzzing. It's not hard to wrap a foam sleep over anything that might buzz.

    I happen to like the Humdebugger, so I'm happy already. And it's true that many are fine with a single coil hum.

    All is well then.
