Multi-fx pedals can be great but they do tend to have a bit of steep learning curve when it comes to getting them up and running in the fashion you want. The easiest and one of the best sounding units I found was the Zoom G3 - the ms50g and G5 operate in a similar way as far as I'm aware. It was nice because it acted as virtual pedalboard.
In the end though I was using more pedals alongside it and was only really using delay and reverb pedals from the Zoom. Although the sounds on the Zoom were pretty good I'm now much happier running a Strymon Timeline and a TC Trinity T2. I do however miss the looper on the G3 as it was really user friendly.
