I saw Bill Frisell uses Jazz 3 M now (0.88)
I've been using Planet Waves Heavy 1mm for a while
What is your experience for funk and rythmstuff with the Jazz 3 ?
Was just about to put them on an order today but Thomann only sell them in batches of 35 picks
It seems very pointy ?

To#to#se s##ll in the shape of a Wengen, recovered from a damaged Edwardian Vanity set.
Glides off of the string and gets grippy as it absorbs heat from your fingers.

1.5mm max grip.

I find Jazz III's horrible for rhythm honestly, but I use the standard small size and I don't hold it tightly so it moves around a lot when I strum.

I like the Dunlop Jazz III in ultex for electric. On my Loar acoustic archie, it's usually Dunlop Tortex Purple Bass pick. Much easier to hang onto when you're playing Freddie.

My favourite, too! I've tried many others but the Traynors are very warm and lack string click. They seem very different from the Dunlop delrin picks that I have.

I can get a warm and clear tone, but also be able to change the tone quite a lot, something I didn't easily get from thicker or thinner picks.

Planet Waves Black Ice 1.50 mm. They are firm and nicely bevelled.
