The Henriksens are dead quiet when turned on which is a must for me as I like playing ballads and chord melodies were hissing or humming would distract from the tune. When I was young I liked to play lightning fast. Now I like playing slow and colorful and the Henriksen really works well. All my archtops laminate or carved sound great with the Henriksens. Yes it is a 1 trick pony but I only like a thick dark tone which the Henriksen delivers.
I have the 112 .... What does adding a 110 to your tool kit do for you?

The 110 is better for small venues. Much lighter and a tighter less boomy bass. I think my carved tops sound better thru the 110 and my laminates thru the 112 IMO.

I had the Henriksen i really disliked it. Sterile and boring sounding to my ears. Yes, it sounded like that ordinary, muffled sound most people think of as jazzguitar. I love my different Cubes though. Organic and dynamic tones, and because its basicly is a hi-fi speaker, it does not beam as much as a normal guitar speaker, which is great. Your hi-fi sounds good all over the room, doesn't it? I have a bunch of tube amps for different things, but the Cubes are really, really great!

Ouch, i'm gonna be shout at here, i guess ;-)

I have an old 1980's Japanese Cube 60 (the orange one), its outstanding... You can get it cheap used. Had also the newer one, but I disliked it because of the simulated things on it. The orange one is "pure" compared to the newer versions, and the tone is very warm, and jazzy. I play in a big band, and have no problem with the volume, either.

Unless you need the portability of a 110, I suggest that you do not rule out the 112. Try to pick up a new model, as the recent upgrades to the tweeter that Henriksen implemented are a big improvement and can easily be heard.
I agree. I had two Cubes and sold both of them. I now have a 110 and a 112. I find the 110 a bit cleaner but the 112 to have quite a bit fuller jazz tone.
