I am a big fan of the Godin 5th Avenue models and they are particularly good for fingerstyle. The comfortable neck and body size and the unbound beveled fretboard make it a pleasure to play.
I don't think you necessarily need a super-wide fretboard, it just depends how you play and how big your hands are. I started playing jazz after doing nylon-string classical, and to me the Godin has the closest feel to the classical, despite the narrower neck width.
It goes without saying that there are a lot of hybrid nylon strings--Godin, Taylor and Sadowsky come to mind--that would be excellent for fingerstyle.

I really like the Peerless Martin Taylor. Regardless if you like Mr. Taylor or not, IMO this guitar (Virtuoso or Maestro) is very fine for fingerstyle.
