Gibson LeGrande - Would love to hear a review of this fine guitar

I've been working on my upright bass playing lately .... and while you can can get some decent stuff for cheap

The really good stuff can be more expensive than your average new car ..... the older it is the more expensive

Fine.

I'm more of a "keep it original" guy than a mod guy, but if there's something else I should be thinking about, and why I should be thinking about it, fire at will.

Oh no I love the BJB just as is. I was simply curious about your impression of it. I've only swapped out one pickup ever...a SD '59 for a KA 12 pole PAF.

in all sincerity, i'm probably not the best person to ask.

I'll bet Jack Zucker could elaborate with quite a bit of illumination though. He's a veritable test pilot of electric guitars.
