I also have a RE 1x10" that amazes everyone that hears it how full it sounds. I want to try an Ear Candy cabinet, but like to find a comparison with RE first.

So I'm leaning toward either a RE Stealth 10 or a Twin 8. Has anyone played a Twin 8 and care to comment. I just have to sell another $100 dollars worth of stuff and I'll be ready to buy. Any experience with the 2x8?

The 2x8 cab is my favorite configuration. I've got a 2x8 Earcandy cab that has become my go to cabinet because of its ability to provide volume, warmth, and light compression that brings out the best in my playing. The cabs to which I compare it are a 1x6 that sounds great, but it's treble heavy sound doesn't pair well with all my guitars, and my 1x12 loaded with an Eminence EM12 (an Electrovoice clone), which has such a broad frequency spectrum that it can boom and spike a bit more than I'd like.
I'd be happy gigging with any of my cabinets, but again, my 2x8 is the one that brings out the greatest fluidity in my playing.

Thanks Klatu! I really appreciate your feedback. It is very helpful to hear you speak from your experience.

I honestly don't know. Since it's a closed back cab and I can't look through the back at the speaker, I'd have to take the thing apart. The easiest way to find out would be to contact Tim of Earcandy Cabs through his Reverb.com account.
