    Hi,

you mentioned that the new D'Angelico EX line is among the options.

I was skeptical, but apparently they are good value for money if you are on a tight budget.

And as usual, go see for yourself.

    Good luck!

Not mine but there is a pretty '91 Howard Roberts on TGP for $2200. The center block and big body may give you the best of both worlds. I have no idea if that is a good price though. I just saw it and thought of this thread.

Heritage guitars are so beautiful,..., but they have the ugliest head in the market. I would urge the brand owners to make an aesthetic change on this topic. I know many people that avoided to buy an Heritage for this.
I know that sounds superficial, but I think that a guitar it is not just and instrument, it is something that motivates you. Everybody prefers a cute girlfriend.

I think that Gibson 125 model is always overlooked; that guitar sounds beautiful, I know it has not cutaway (apart from variations of the model), I wish I could buy one.

I would like to have one of those old Guilds, They are good to look and to hear.

I don't know abouth the new Guild models, some people says that they are right but others says that are just cartoon copies of their older sisters.

There's a D'Angelico EX-SS for sale in Ottawa right now on Kijiji.
