you might want to tell the singer not to knock her knees together when she sings [though it's cute in a shy way]
and not to mouth the lyrics when you play a solo.

I'm with P2 on this one. Very similar. As far as PU's go my 90 Cremona has a Bartolini floater and I recall Bartolini PU's being used on many Benedetto guitars before the deal with Seymour Duncan to produce PU's with the Benedetto logo.

BTW I'm quite happy with the Bartolini on mine and have no plans to change it out.

So when there's a beautiful Buscarino on stage, why are you looking at the young ladies knees??

Maybe we also ended up taking him for granted - but then, one day he had gone back to US to a new stardom. But to us older Danish jazz fans, he will always be "Bent Gordonsen from Valby" as he often introduced himself (Valby is a part of Copenhagen). I can still feel the chill down my spine when I hear his huge tone on "I guess I'll hang my tears out to dry" on the "Go" album. He was a ballad master. Hear it here:

Even farther out OT:

If you have been in Copenhagen with Wild Bill Davison, you may also have met a close friend of my wife and I, Danish trumpeter Theis Jensen who was also a good friend of Davison (and Albert Nicholas too). Theis played and sang very much like Armstrong and at that time he co-led a dixieland band band with trombonist Peter Nygaard. Davison was often guest star with them when he was in Denmark.Last edited by oldane; 12-04-2014 at 11:23 AM.
