BS. It's his same design he narrowed for this guitar. Critics.

Jake looks pensive. This is Chloe, not a pit bull, but my Bull Terrier that loves her treats. Not a wise idea to mess with her stash of toys either, at risk of losing a digit!

Thank you, I will tell Chloe she has a fan. She is a wonderful companion.
OP stated that his wife and dog love his playing, and I have to agree that is the best state of affairs. My wife encouraged me to get my Benedetto (after she found out I was buying that instead of a new car). Well, she also gets a share of the gig money too. And Chloe is my practice buddy, she just curls up under my music stand and goes to sleep. A great comfort.
Here's my support team on a recent hike. And congrats on the Campy.I've never played one that was a dog!

True. I asked MC about the bracing and he mentioned that he gave up doing X's some time ago, suggesting that - in his opinion - there wasn't a noticeable difference in the sound to him. He also mentioned the same thing about Standard versus higher end models - the tonewood is different but really apart from the bells and whistles the sound is pretty much the same.

I notice too much between guitars - even between the two Campys I have - to say they are on par with Gibson (Gruhn said at one point MC was building archtops that rivaled 50s' era Gibsons) but I think they are certainly up there.
