Upstream this model goes for €3630 (~$4650USD), so I suppose if you have a production facility with unethically cheap access to materials and labour there is potential for profit. But you're right, I would think the market for something like this would be niche enough that it wouldn't be worth choosing to fake this guitar over a Les Paul or something.

I have a lovely fake dupont .would never part with it.don't understand why the makers didn't use their own name as the guitar is so good .you can see it plyed by stochelo rosenberg.search maccaferri rules for the best sound or mine under jptitterton.
