I think that all it really means is that many poly models develop their max power into a 3 ohm load. A bit of a nuisance, if you end up replacing a blown speaker with a stock 4 ohm unit.

Thanks, guys for the comments! I will have to look into a fix. Not sure I would trust it at a gig, but it would be great to use it at home.
