Hi, Anyone know of a good quality gigbag that would work for my Eastman 803CE? Basically any bag that would work for a ES-175 should work. Thanks!

I only buy from Glenn Cronkhite (founder of RB): glenn cronkhite custom cases

I use the Reunion Blues Continental dreadnought bag for my archtop. Very happy with it. I know Lage Lund and Peter Bernstein use it too.

Reunion Blues Continental is very nice. I use a Mono M-80 Dreadnaught case for my Eastman. Used it for my
Heritage 575 as well.

Thanks fellas this is what I was looking to find out! Real world use not just catalog dimensions. Nice looking Moffa archtop as well!

Try Probag. probagwebstartscom

Monocase dreadnought bag works but I found it very bulky and so passed on it.
-
You mean too loose for the guitar itself?
-
No - fit is good just a very large bag. I'm very picky...
-
I've got a pair of nylon's for 16's just collecting dust...You're welcome to one if you want to pay the freight.

I just filmed a quick look around the Reunion Blues Continental dreadnought bag for anyone who wants a closer look.
I muddled up my currencies in the video - the current price is 177 Euros.Last edited by David B; 04-06-2014 at 02:38 AM.

Thanks for the detailed tour of your gigbag, David!

Which 17" guitars have you seen used successfully with the Continental Dreadnought Bag? I'd like to know, because I'd like to have something of such high quality to protect my Heritage Eagles.

+1 for the Reunion Blues.
Very light and sturdy. I have one which I use for taking out the D18 the Gb10's and also the LGB300 which is the widest with 16.5"
actually would not throw it from 2nd floor as they adertise, but its rugged, made with good material and stiff/flexible
as it could be. Weight is way below a normal case. I strap it as a backpack even with a suit on its OK to carry. inside the blue softtextile is a good choice as well.
The other ones I want to have as they look outstanding goood in my eyes are this
Harvest Fine Leather | Archtop/Dreadnought bag
saw them in a hotellobby and thought someone improtant must be around haha

on a related note, I like cheap ($30-40) padded gig bags, but am having trouble finding new ones.
I had some older Ritter bags that worked great, but now they have these sporty looking ones that I dont want.
I have a "17, 3" deep, 25.5" scale archtop, need backpack straps, pouch big enough for sheet music.
any suggestions?
