Same killer playability and tone as the Cremona 17"...and very comfy.
It arrived with TI 11's...after I've swapped to bebop 13's I'll update a tone report...even with these light 11's it's very enjoyable! These Cremona's are far and away the best of the 3 Peerless' I've owned. The ebony is as smooth as silk, and the fit and finish rivals any other archtop I've previously owned. If you saw this guitar in person you'd swear it had been made in U know where...

Hi 2Born,
Looks gorgeous! Who makes the pickups on these Peerless models? Is it their own brand?
-
Thx! That's a real good question. I'm gonna find out. But they're some of the most expressive humbuckers I've owned.
-
no other tailpiece on Cremona?
-
It looks to me like 60% Sadowsky, 40% 175 - 2B your photos are the best!
-
I've only seen 1 custom Leila Cremona with a Benedetto style tailpiece. The stock Cremona tailpiece is ebony.

When you're ready to send the 16 along, send me a message!

Love the pics by the way. You're really good with a composition and light.
Cheers,
Ben

Thx Jonathan. The Cremona 16 is a 25.5 scale at 2.5" in depth. It's my 3rd ever "thin body", and the others being a Heritage Sweet 16 and an Eastman Elite 16.

It's a C neck but on the thin side. It's comfortable and quick.

Pardon my ignorance, Mr. Bop, but what model is the Florentine cutaway pictured? The Cremona looks lovely as well. Sounds like the playability is right as well. What is the action like? Unlike some players, I do not actually prefer an extremely low action. I like some rebound and spring when I play and come off a note. But those guitars are both beautiful. Lucky man....

This looks like what Jim Soloway was looking for. (Well, if the body has a 2" depth.) Have you mentioned how much it costs?

Hey Jay! Both are Cremona's. The florentine is 16". Action is low but fully adjustable. I'm placing beefier strings on the florentine today. Same as the TI 13's on the 17". Fab archtops these are. They remind me of the Vestax D'A guitars made in Japan.
