for a solidbody i could understand but on this hollowbody design the hole is rather adding weight while decreasing the volume of the box/possibly the treble response a bit ?

Other than the hole I didnt mean to be critical; I hope that is not how you or others interpreted my post above.

I REALLY appreciate people who build contemporary jazz boxes of their own design rather than copying the existing stuff. Your lines in the design have a geat 'flow'and are very appealing, similar to what would attract me in say a Mirabella or Solomon. Very modern yet stylish.
