I've played a Gibson ES-330 in the shop (pretty much my dream guitar) that had a killer neck. My Taylor plays incredibly as well.

I love the neck of my EB Musicman Axis (I have two), but also my 1974 ES-175 has a wonderfull neck.
And of course my Fender Baja telecaster...

Taylor... very simply, the best neck out there.

Gibson ES profile necks. can't argue with my old L5CES, my Le Grand, or my Citation.

On both ends of the price spectrum....Ibanez Spalt AF-105 and Corey Christiansen's Buscarino.

Interesting thread. As oldane mentioned, everyone has different tastes but what caught my eye more than the guitars listed is what brands are not listed so far... More specifically the very high end archtops and boutique builders. It seems like most of the guitars listed are mid to lower priced guitars, which is my experience as well. Don't get me wrong, I have owned some sweet expensive archtops in the past and loved each one, but lately I am finding the the lower priced imports ( archtop and slab) have a neck feel that is more favorable to me... And I don't shed a tear when they get a bump or ding.
Just an observation...

i had a 1980 D18 that had a very full neck; almost felt like a hint of a V to it--best neck ever, even tho it was only 1-11/16, it was so dang comfortable.

That may be the result of a statistical mass effect. There are simply many, many more mid to lower priced guitars than luthiers boutique guitars out there. So the chances that an expensive luthier made guitar is mentioned is much lesser than a widely common guitar like a 175 or an Ibanez.

My ES-150 is thin AND narrow, One of my LP's is like a sawed in half baseball bat and after just a minute or two of self adjustment I play them equally well. I prefer a wider thicker neck, but that's because I have finger tips that are wide but across the gamut of necks in my small collection I cannot say I dislike a single one... that I still have that is!

Ibanez Wizard neck on my 1990 RG570. Super thin and easy to play. I have chunkier necks (all necks are chunkier than the wizard) which are ok also, only time I feel a big difference between necks is when I have played my five string bass

My favorite was an old Guild archtop my uncle had when I was young. Right up with it was the Guild D55 acoustic I bought years later. My Tacoma is as close as I could come to that for my hand..

I haven't played a lot of guitars but my prefered neck for now is Ibanez Artcore.
