I hadn't been to their web site in a while. I see they have a500W version of their amp now. Was the 200W too wimpy?

I'm not savvy enough to know what the aural difference between a 200w and 500w amp is, but each of the Evans 200w versions I played through was loud enough to re-arrange the furniture in my house. I assume it has more to do with obtaining extremely clean sounds, rather than simply louder sounds, but will leave that to those in the know.

I'm the 1x15" guy. Scott recommended that I try the Eminence Beta 15A, which I have on order. My cabinet is set up so I can mimic Evans' extension cabinets. It has three horizontal panels in the back. I put the big one in the middle and have a port on the bottom and top. I'm playing a 175 with P90s and it has been work, but a lot of fun, to get the sound I hear. So far, other than messing with the controls endlessly, I switched from .13 flats to .12 rounds to try to take advantage of the amps clarity.
I'd sure love it if someone compared the hybrid and the new model. My hybrid sounds like a tube amp; I guess because it half is.

I'm not savvy enough either, at least not about the details. But FWIW I did sniff around the website yesterday and found that the RE-200 has an Eminence Beta 10 (250/500 W) whereas the 500 has the Delta (350/700 W). I also downloaded the manual yesterday, but it has not been updated to show more than the 200 Watts into 4 ohms power level, which I believe is the power available from the 200 amps w/ an extension cab.
